Lets bring it to life

  • Step 1

    Send over your story.
    I’ll get to know it and create a visual plan including illustration ideas and book layout

  • Step 2

    Each illustration starts as an initial sketch. We can can tweak these until you’re happy with them

  • Step 3

    Once you’re happy with the sketches, I’ll refine and tidy them up into a more polished line drawing

  • Step 4

    I’ll add colour and shading to give the illustration warmth and character

  • Step 5

    I’ll send over a (digital) draft, with the text added, for you to approved before I move on to the next illustration

  • Step 6

    After all the illustrations are finished, and you’re happy with them, I’ll start working on the cover

  • Step 7

    I’ll bring everything together and prepare a fully collated, print-ready file of your book

  • Step 8

    You’ll receive the completed digital file of your full book, ready to print or publish

Initial conversations and discussions are always free, giving us the chance to explore your ideas and see if we’re the right fit.

Once we’ve agreed to move forward, all illustration projects are subject to a signed agreement and would require a deposit before work begins. This helps create a clear and positive process for everyone involved, with project details, timelines, payment terms, and expectations agreed in advance.
